Forum Search problem...

well sort of.... Our IT dept in their infiinite wisdom has implemented a new Firewall from SuperLumin. It is very effective at preventing me from searching this site with built in search capability. I can view the forum, I can post, reply (haven't tried PM latley) but the "Super" won't let me search this place, the reason (can it be called a reason if it is unreasonable?) is it is flagged as "Chatrooms/Instant Messaging"?? Huh?

LOL... oh well Google is very effective...

Actually google *is* very effective - you do use the site modifier, correct?

I.e., google keywords:
rebuild erik.van.geit site:mrexcel.com
(takes you right to erik's rebuild post)

DRAFT site:mrexcel.com
(takes you right to the DRAFT thread)

I do sometimes. If I can't something, and MrExcel is not in the top few hits, then I modify. Actually I modified when I get link farms in the top hits... Man I hate those, they seem to be cropping up more recently, they are like going into an infinite loop of links....
