I was wondering if anyone else as of late has experienced this.

If you come into board/forum from a link via e-mail and check the response let it sit for awhile (don't sign in) and for me I'm working in excel at the time and VBA. The screen will flicker randomly and then finally explorer will crash. It only happens in this manner no other sites.

never seen that action, any explorer calls in the excel in your own book ?

Might help if you specify what is your environment... PC, MAC, what browser...

IE ver 11.0.25
excel 2010
windows 7 pro

I think it has something to do with the "video" adds that are showing.

Unable to duplicate flickering under Edge. Might be an IE bug maybe related to flash... Have you tried updating your flash player version?

My setup is basically the same as yours and I've never encountered anything of the kind. If IE is crashing, that suggests a problem with your IE installation (you might try re-repairing it - see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/318378), though other OS components can't be ruled out; Office is unlikely to be involved, but you could try repairing it just in case (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair).
