Formulas with references in different sheets

Hi all,

I'm somewhat embarrassed to ask as this seems pretty rudimentary but I can't figure out a way to fix this.

I've built out a spreadsheet that crunches some raw data from another datasheet in the workbook. It works great but this will be a quarterly process with new/updated raw data.

What I'd like to do is simply bring in my new raw data and replace the old raw data sheet and my formulas work seamlessly. Excel freaks out when I try to do this because it messes all of the references up. I've tried to add a new raw sheet but I still have to manually correct the formulas. I've also tried making a copy of my data crunching spreadsheet and importing it to the workbook with the new raw data but same kind of thing. The references mess the formulas up.

What's the best way to tweak my formulas so I can exchange raw datasheets in and out with ease?

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
