Is there a way to use similar excel formulas in word? I would like to link a spreadsheet to a word document and use a sum formula. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
If you want to do so, then try this way:
Open your WORD Doc and through Insert>Object>CREATE FROM FILE> give your file name in the box, and check the "Link to File" checkbox.
