Hi,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o> </o>
I hope somebody can help me with this problem.<o></o>
<o> </o>
In cell C2 (actually the entire column C) I have a date and in cell B2 (and again the entire B Column) I have a drop down list with 8 options to select from. I want to be alerted when we have reached the date in C2 (even better If I can be alerted 5 days beforehand), but only if “licensed”, “relicensed” or “sold” has been selected in cell B2.<o></o>
<o> </o>
I thought I would use Conditional Formatting to turn the C2 cell red, but am open to other suggestions. Please could somebody explain to me a formula I would need to write to get this to work. I have been using C2<TODAY() for the first part, but am struggling with how to check if B2 contains the correct information. My attempts have been getting very long and still not working. I'm sure somebody more skilled could quickly write a short formula that would do the job.
<o> </o>
Thanks in advance<o></o>
