Hello

I am trying to find the formula that will give me the percentage of 2 cells on my training spreadsheet. A1 is attended and A2 is not attended. If 6 people attended and 2 people didn't, what formula would I use to work out the percentage of attendance.

A1 = 6
A2 = 2

Total = 8

I know it will be 75% and 25% but I would like a formula as there is a lot more cells to cover.
Thanks for any help

Hi,

Seems like you've already answered your own question, unless there's more to it:

Solution
Thank you so much! I knew what the answer was going to be for that particular cell but I have other cells with different amounts and I could not work out the formula that would automatically calculate it for me. Thanks again :biggrin:
