formulae for filtering a list then sum up Qty's

Hi Guys,

I have a list of parts numbers, with quantities, and these parts are repeated randomly down the list (sometimes up to 20 times) and the quantities are all different.
I need a formulae that will recognise a certain part number several times and ultimately add all the quantities together.
Maybe like the VLOOKUP formulae but with a "find next" and a "autosum" function.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
