I am trying to find the formula in cell B1
Example 1
eg If cell A1 has value 5
Deduct 1
=4 then divide 100/4 =25
Then deduct 25 from 100 = 75
Then add 4 +(75% of 4)
Answer would be 7

Example 2
eg If cell A1 has value 11
Deduct 1
=10 then divide 100/10 =10
Then deduct 10 from 100 = 90
Then add 10+(90% of 10)
Answer would be 19

Hope this makes sense

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
How about
=(1+(100-(100/(A1-1)))/100)*(A1-1)

Or slightly simpler
=(2-(1/(A1-1)))*(A1-1)

You're welcome & thanks for the feedback
