Help please:

I have 2 columns, A and B - I need a formula so that when I enter a value in Col A, the adjacent cell in Col B shows today's date plus 21 days.( "TODAY" function is no good as I need the date to be 'fixed' once it is calculated and displayed. This is in effect a mandatory delivery due date and thus cannot be altered.) At the same time I need Col B to be blank if there is no value in the adjacent cell in Col A.
Further to this I will need any cell in Col B with a date in to turn yellow 7 days from the date displayed, and to turn red as soon as the date is surpassed.

Your help in solving this is much appreciated.

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).

It sounds like you might need some VBA with a worksheet_change event to handle the static dates and some conditional formatting for the yellow/red highlighting.

Thank you for the reply dreid1011. Other than the conditional formatting bit I have no idea what your reply means, much less how to go about it.
