Formula to order an item based on sales and quantity on hand

Hi,

I would like to create a formula where if I have sold more than 6 quantities and I have less than 3 in stock, it would ask me to create an order for 12 quantities.

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Do you mean something like this?
