How do I find the trend line chart zero crossing point with a formula (result) instead of plotting it?
1. My Excel sheet data is arranged in two columns, named "Date" and "Total Assets". The dates are "month/year" and set to text as the column type. The Total Assets are number type.
2. The "Total Assets" numbers are always a diminishing value (over time)
3. How do I find the future point at which the trend line of that diminishing value will cross zero?
Currently, I am just creating a line chart and then adding a trend line to the chart (very tedious for 78 different sheets), so I would like to quickly find out when that trend line eventually crosses the zero point (zero "Total Assets"). Is there a formula that will get me there? Suggestions?
