Formula to find the time difference between two dates and times

looking for a formula that helps find the number of hours between two dates and a time value. I used a formula (=HOUR(G3-F3) & ":" & MINUTE(G3-F3)), but in some cases it's showing some errors coming value as "#VALUE!". Can you please help if the formula which I'm using is correct?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
you should just be able to take F away from G and then format the cells to
[H]:MM

the [] makes the cell show over 24hrs
