formula to add text before and after

Hi I have a cell A2 with a number in it. I would like a formula that will add a ';' before the number and '=yy' after the number

Does this give you want you want? If you need some space in between them, just add a space after the ; and before the =

=";"&TEXT(A2,"##")&"=yy"

Hi this works. One thing however, the number in A2 is longer than 15 digits (16) which means excel adds a zero. Even if I change the cell in A2 to text when I add the formula (in B2) it adds the zero again. Is there any way around this?
