I have the following formula below which returns #value if source workbook is closed

Code:
=SUM(OFFSET('C:\My Documents\Sales Report -Oct 2022 to Sept 2023.xlsm'!BR1_JNL,11,3))

I would like to replace this formula with another formula so that a value is displayed instead of #value when source workbook is closed

Your assistance in this regard is most appreciated

Hi, try this formula
=IFERROR(SUM(OFFSET('C:\My Documents\Sales Report -Oct 2022 to Sept 2023.xlsm'!BR1_JNL,11,3)),9999)

Thanks for the reply. It returns 9999. I want to extract the values 11 rows from range name bR1_JNL and 3 columns to to right pertaining to workbook 'C:\My Documents\Sales Report -Oct 2022 to Sept 2023.xlsm
