Hi,

I am having difficulty in hiding a "0" if nothing is found using the following formula

=IFERROR(LOOKUP(2,1/($AZ$13:$AZ$5000=D12)/($AS$13:$AS$5000=F12),($AX$13:$AX$5000)),"")

is there a way for the formula to return "" instead of "0"

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
You can just append

&""

to the end of your formula, but be aware that if you are returning a number, the &"" will convert it to a text field, meaning that other numeric functions that refer to that field may not work right.

If that's not OK, you can use Conditional Formatting, or a custom format, and there's even a setting you can set to hide zero values. Let us know what sounds best to you.

Hi Eric W,

Many thanks for the info

I think the &"" would be the best option

Many thanks
