Hi All,

Working on a spreadsheet and wanting to know if anyone can assist me with a formula to highlight fields based on inputted times.

I currently have rows H - Y with times at 1 hour intervals. 0600 0700 0800 etc

I would like rows F to be the start time
and row G to be the finish time.

If someone enters 0700 in row F
and 1000 in row G

I would like the document to highlight in green the rows between 0700 - 1000.

I hope that makes sense to you all, I tried to attach a picture of the spreed sheet, but it would not allow me. Hopefully someone can assist.

Thanks all.

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hi,
format columns F-Y as text so you can retain the leading zeros.
With H-Y selected
In conditional formatting select:
Highlight Cell Rules > Between
Select F1 and G1 and apply the format you want.
