can anyone help with a formula to calculate rank based on dates? I have 3 fields, Column A Salesman, Column B Customer, and Column C DateSold. I want to rank each sold date (oldest to newest), by Salesman. So Salesman Joe Smith's 1st sale was the oldest datesold, and his 2nd is the next oldest date sold. I want to do this without sorting and resorting. Just using the formula regardless of the sort of the data.

SM Cust DtSold Rank
Smith Johnson 3/21/18 3
Jones Adams 2/02/18 1
Smith Carpenter 1/18/18 2
Smith Pelley 1/10/18 1
Jones Davis 5/19/18 3
Jones Arley 4/19/18 2
