Hi the P&L is returning 2,000 but I think it should be returning 200,000. Trying to figure out why its not. This is the formula I'm using under the P&L CELL =(M12-H12)*G12*10[TABLE="width: 92"]

Looks right to me... (M12-H120) = (54-52) = 2... 2*g12 = 2*100 = 200... 200*10 = 2000

How would it be 200000 ?

Let's plug in the numbers.
=(M12-H12)*G12*10

M12 = 54
H12 = 52

=(54-52)*G12*10

54-2 = 2

=(2)*G12*10
=2*G12*10

G12 = 100
=2*100*10

2*100 = 200
=200*10

=2000

Why do you expect 200,000?

=(M12-H12)*G12*10 => (54-52)*100*10 => 2,000

I think you want to multiply by 1000
(54-52)*100*1000=200,000

wait guys lol. I think I know why. I am pricing it as 5200 and 5400. so subtract that it would be 200*10 etcc that will give me 200,000

Yes Scott I can either do this 5200 or multiply by the thousands

ok so I have a question is there a way to do this math if I change this formula =(M12-H12)*G12*10. So if I type in the cells 52 or 52.00 or 5200 that it will pick it up by the hundredth then by jus 2?

:confused: I cannot figure out what you are asking for here... perhaps some before and after examples would help.
