Formula Needed: Count number of days between two dates. If no end date, use today. If no start date, leave blank.

I need to count the number of days between two dates. If no start date is found, leave the result blank. If no end date, use today (result will increase everyday).

But I don't know how to incorporate the IF function into the DATES function.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

=IF(A1="","",IF(B1="",TODAY()-A1,B1-A1))
