Here's my problem. I have a spreadsheet with hire dates and when employees are eligible for benefits. They are eligible for the 401k match the next quarter following 1 year after their anniversary date. Example: Hire date is 1/15/13 so they would be eligible on 1/15/14 but the next quarter isn't until 3/1/14. How can I make a formula for this?

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
This should work. Assuming all the start dates are in column A, pop this into cell A1, and drag is for every person on the list.

Here's another one:

Code:
=DATE(YEAR(A1)+1,LOOKUP(MONTH(A1),{1,4,7,10},{1,4,7,10})+3,1)

There'll be a more 'beautiful' way though I'm sure...
