I am trying to design a form to facilitate compilation of answers to questions. I have three possible scores for each question 1, 2 or 3. I have set up 3 colums with checkbox controls. I want to be able to count the number of ticks in each column using a formula at the bottome of each column. Is this possible and if so how do I do it?

Many thanks

Craig

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
You can link each checkbox to a cell. So, you could link the checkbox to the cell it is directly over (or somewhere out of the way). this will make the cell values true or false depending on the state of the checkbox.
If your linked cells are in the range E2:E15, below the column of checkboxes you could use the formula:
=COUNTIF(E2:E15,TRUE)
This will count how many checkboxes are checked.
