Formula Just Stays a Formula

This is odd. I have a pivot table and whenever I reference to it, it just stays a formula (e.g., "=B47" and enter just stays "=B47"). Within the pivot table, I've turned off "Generate Get Pivot Data" so that it refers to the cells as normal.

Calculation is absolutely turned to automatic. The cell is formatted as a number.

I mention this cell formatting because my first thought was that it sees it as text. When this happens, I change the format to a number, press enter, and I'm good. Not so here.

I'm afraid I have no idea as to what's happening.

Your help is appreciated.

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
To my great surprise, this was a CTRL+~ issue. I really thought I had tried that.

Who knew!?!? Thank you all and sorry for taking up a post with this non-sense.
