Instead of a picture, can you use XL2BB to post that small section of the worksheet shown in you picture?

Are you sure that is really the formula in cell I3, and you are not looking at some other cell?
If that cell is indeed formatted as "General" and you pressed F9 to force a calculation, I don't see how it can return that.
You may also want to check to see if there is Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, or any VBA event procedure code running on that cell.
