Possibly already been suggested or even considered...

Quote tag is fantastic... As is the code tag! All code should be posted using code tag, makes it that much easier to read.

There are many of us who use the code tag for formula, in some instances this has caused some confusion when OP is unsure if suggestion is actually VBA...

May we have a "Formula is:" tag please? :biggrin:
<table bgcolor="FFFFFF">
<tr> Formula is:
<td> <font size=2 color="0000FFFF"> =SUMPRODUCT(N('C:\[invoices.xls]Sheet1'!$A$3:$A$5=$B3),N(TEXT('C:\[invoices.xls]Sheet1'!$D$3:$D$5,"mm/y")=TEXT(C$2,"mm/yy")),'C:\[invoices.xls]Sheet1'!$E$3:$E$5) </font> </td>
</tr>
</table>
Just a thought... :biggrin:

Hi,

some MVP's have already asked this to the Board-"operators"
the answer was: "it's incredibly difficult to modify the Board software"

kind regards,
Erik

Hi Jon
I sometimes use the code tag to display a formula or SQL so that the spaces, quotes and double quotes are easier to see. Where you also have a long formula, insert a space after a few of the commas and that stops the formula disappearing off the side of the webpage. Maybe you could write an html formula generator much like Tom's one that colour codes the VBA code?

Well I'd say that's a good answer, can't argue with that! :biggrin:

Not sure I'm proficient enough - but I'm up to the challenge - time permitting! I imagine getting color-coded parenthesis must be quite tricky! :biggrin:

Thanks for replies / suggestions!

Jon
