Hi.
I know, I am asking too much here. But I have seen much weird (!) things happened with excel so I dared.
Ok. My question is, Is it possible to use formula in Custom Number Format?
e.g.
I have 2 values: Sales of the month, Closing stock of the month
on the basis of these 2, I calculate Inventory Days with a formula (=ClosingStock*30/Sales).
This information I use to mark high inventory items or places with conditional formatting on Closing Stock Column.
For Inv.Days>45
I use custom format "Inv Days >45 Days"* 0.00 to highlight high closing stock.
I want the custom format to be dynamic, so that I can know exact inventory days in the format itself.
like "Inv Days 30", "Inv Days 40" for the respective cell where 30 or 40 is derived by formula.
Again, this problem is not that critical. But I would like to imagine possibilities..
