Hi

I wanted to know if there is a formula to average the cells from D5 to D9 if value is inside.

So lets say D5 D6 D7 have values 100 50 50. Then it would divide the total 200 into 3, but if Value was in all cells D5 D6 D7 D8 D9 like 100 50 50 40 and 30. Then it would divide it into 5.

Any help thanks

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
One option
=AVERAGEIF(D5:D9,"<>""",D5:D9)
