column A is # of contacts made in a week 18,245
Column B is # of FTE 212
Column C is # of weeks 52

how would you determine # of contacts made per FTE per Week

ok thanks, that what i thought but in an example i was looking at i couldn't tie back to somebody's answer so i got confused but maybe they did wrong

What did they have?


This reminds me of those maths problems

If it takes 10 men 10 hours to dig 10 holes etc

where you just divide each number into each other

so in there example they had column A 19,739 contacts
Column B had 194 FTE
Column C had 52 weeks in year
they come up with Contacts/FTE/Week= 2

i Did =(A1/B1)/C1
and i got 0.00

You dont need the brackets

the format of the cell sounds wrong

type 1.23 into a blank cell
make sure it says 1.23
use format painter (paintbrush) to copy the cell format to where that 0.00 is
it will prob display something different

Result shopuld be 1.956681
