Hi All,
I have some data with two columns with data (data is either available or unavailable in each column) The unavailable status trumps the available status in either column
can someone please help with a formula to compare and place the results in column K?

thanks
Sam

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
maybe something like...

=IF(COUNTIF(I2:J2,"unavailable"),"Unavailable","Available")

thanks Weazel, that works

i also just got mine to work =IF(AND(D6="Available",E6="Available"),"Available","Unavailable") - i put the second last bracket at the end which is why it wasn't working for me
