Hi,

I am having a bit of trouble with this formula I would like.

Columns

Q = Start date
R = Finish Date
T = On/Off

When a date is entered into Q, I would like "ON" input into column T.
When a date is then entered into R, I would like it to change to "OFF" in T

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Since you cant have a finish Date without a start date, the finish date takles precedence

in T1
=IF(R1<>0,"OFF",IF(Q1<>0,"ON",""))
