Hello,

I am trying to have a formula which takes an average of a column of B from a range that is controlled by another cell.

For example:

=AVERAGE(B(N7):B(N8))
where if N7 has a value of 100 and N8 has a value of 200 the outcome would be:

=AVERAGE(B100:B200)

Thank you in advance

Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
How about
Excel Formula:
=AVERAGE(INDEX(B:B,N7):INDEX(B:B,N8))
