Formula Confusion

I am currently trying to solve a formula and am unsure as to what the best way to go about it is.

I want to count 1 if the following conditions are met:

A = no
B = any text
C = any text
D = any text

E-J = at least one has any text

If all these conditions are met, count 1.

I've tried countifs, sumproduct etc and think I'm just getting it the wrong way around.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
A simple way to do this is starting in column k enter formula If(isblank(a1),1,0), then column l if(isblank(b1),0,1) m if(isblank(c1),0,1)
do this for all the columns then sum K.... if that total is >+5 count 1

Yes I did neglect columns B C D.
Maybe include in the AND

ISTEXT(B1),ISTEXT(C1),ISTEXT(D1)

Also, does this mean if any, or all E1:J1 have anything in them it will count?

Thanks

"E-J = at least one has any text"

at least one therefore greater than 0

Welcome to the MrExcel board!

1. What exactly does A= no mean?

2. Do any of columns B to J contain formulas? If so, which columns?
