Ok this is weird. I had a circular reference error when I opened my workbook this morning. I have been trying to trace where it is coming from to get rid of the "#REF" everywhere. I was able to delete and recreate formulas but now I have a group of cells (where I believe the original error was coming from) and I can't sum or add them??? I keep getting 0 as a result. Has anyone encountered this before and what should I do?

Very confused and perhaps it is just time for a beer???

Thank you for your help
John

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Yes I have seen a circular reference making the sum = 0, I have seen this before, go to Excel option allow circular reference and limit the amount of times to calc to 100 times, or try to track the reference and erase it

Are you sure that you get rid of all Circular References?
This result may indicate that there are still some..somwhere..

You are correct there are still some as I am getting a message in the lower left corner. I am tracing them out one by one and hope to resolve soon. Thanks again
