I currently have a drop of data with 3000 rows and 26 columns of data that I need I need to filter based off a certain city within the data

Would like to create a summary form with the cities and when I click on the certain city it would then show me all the info for the pertain rows and columns.

What kind of Macro would be needed for this?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Can't you do just that - and select your whole table of data, then use "Data"/"Filter" then, using the dropdown on your "City" column, only select the name of the city you want the data for?

You can also use Excel's built in "Filter on Selection" feature.
To set it up, right click on the ribbon > Customize ribbon > in "Choose commands from " select Commands not in the ribbon > Select "Autofilter" (it's misnamed) > click on "New Group" > Add
