Is it possible to "conditionally format" an ActiveX combo box like you can a cell? What I am wanting to do is require a selection to be made from the combo box. I would like for the box to be red until a selection is made.

Also, which is better to use? ActiveX or Form controls? I am very green to all of these so any help/tips is very appreciated.

I have tried to look up the answer to my first question on Google & this forum with little success.

Thank you all in advance for the help!
