Formatting Issues in the Excel

Greetings from india!

I have a problem with my worksheets. Sometimes I may come across a sheet with formatting that will simply never go away no matter what I try. I'm talking about numerical formatting. Is there a way to completely remove all formatting without deleting the values in the cells? I dont want to use the typical 'clear formatting' button. I want to use something heavy duty to make sure all hidden formatting gets completely wiped out for good.

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

The assumption is that it is numerical formatting. If it is Text, no formatting change may change your "problem."
