I have set the direction of movement to be to the Right when the Enter key is pressed.

I have a table and all columns to the right of the table have been hidden and the first table column is column A.

When I press Enter on the last cell in the table a new row is created, as it should be, BUT the font name and size in some of the cells in the last table column change.

Does anybody know why this happens and what I can do to prevent it happening?

Thanks

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Its likely that your table has inconsistent formatting on the rows and Excel is using a different default format for that column than you think is the default/
Do you have a row where all the formatting for all columns are what you want ?
If yes you can reset all the columns at once.
  1. Unhide all the columns (make them all visible)
  2. Make sure you have no filters applied
  3. Select a cell in the row that you are happy to use as the default formatting for all the columns
  4. Shift+Spacebar - this will select the whole row
  5. Ctrl+C - Copy
  6. Ctrl+Spacebar - this will select all the rows for the all the columns
  7. Paste Special > Format only
Now add a new row and check that the formatting correctly flows through to the new row.
