I have a spreadsheet where columns A-D are merged and when a significant amount of text gets entered into a cell it wont auto size to show all the text and when I double click in-between the rows rather than expanding to show all the text it shrinks to only show 1 line. I have tried selecting format and autofit column width and also tried autofit row height and neither has seemed to help, so I have resorted to manually expanding the row height to accommodate all the text. Any suggestions?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I would suggest you do not merge the cells.
Put the data in the column “A” cell only, then select the cells “A to D” and then:-
Click on “Wrap Text”
Format – Format Cells – Alignment – Horizontal – Centre across selection. – click ok
You will then be able to double click the grey line between the row numbers to auto fit the row height.
