Formatting Cell Based on Two Cells

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get a better idea of how to format a table. Essentially, I have a table with columnA that has multiple unique test names, another with the Tester Name, and a completed column. Let's say I have Test1- A2;Test2-A3; Test3-A4...etc. Test1 might be assocated with Test3;Test7; and Test10.

What I am looking to do is let's say Test1 is Cell A2, John Doe is Cell B2, and Yes is Cell C2. If there is a Yes in the completed column, the test(so in this caseTest1) would be highlighted along with any associated tests(Test3;Test7; Test10).

The caveat is if there are multiple names and if someone filters for their name or sorts the data some how, I want it to still highlight any and all associated tests regardless of location. There will only be one yes in Column C at a given time just so that there is no confict for highlighting cells.

I was thinking of writing something or using conditional formatting, but have been unsuccessful. Please let me know if you have anythoughts, or ideas on how I could make this work.

Best,
