Hi all,

I have a table in my database that stores invoice details. The Amount field stores the total of the invoice in normal currency format (E.g. $1,200.00). However, I need another field in the table to store the amount in a different format for batching of invoices.

The batching format can't have decimal places or the "$" sign. So, for example $150 would be 15000 or $99.67 would be 9967.

Is there a custom format that could be created to handle this or any other way using an update query or vba?

Cheers.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
In the field that you want to show it in multiply your dollar amount by 100 ( =[Invoice Normal Field]*100 ) and set the format to "General Number" and the Decimal places to 0
