I have user form in a workbook that requires the user to input a date, I then assign this value to a cell.

Is there a way to make sure this date formats in the UK format, ie dd-mm-yy?

it currently reverts to the us format, mm-dd-yy and I can't seem to change it.

thanks in advance.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Maybe something like this:
Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()

Dim ukdate As Date

ukdate = CDate(Format(Me.TextBox1.Value, "dd-mm-yy"))
Range("A1").Value = ukdate

End Sub
