Form with multiple combo boxes results

I need to create a form to show contribution history. The form will have three different combo boxes: 1) type; 2) contributor; 3) benefactor.

I would like the user to be able to pick one choice from either one, two, or three combo boxes. Example: the user can select an item from the type cbo only OR, one from the contributor cbo, OR one choice from the type, one from contributor, and one from benefactor they can. How do I structure the query or queries to return results?
