Form runs on some PCs but not on others

I have created a VBA form in Excel 2007. It ran perfectly on my computer (running windows 7 home premium 64bit) until I formatted and installed windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. I now get a "type mismatch" error when I try to use the form. The problem is that it seems to run on some computers, but not others, randomly.

PC 1: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, Excel 2007- doesn't run
PC 2: As above, does run
PC 3: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit, Excel 2007- doesn't run
PC 4: As above, does run

On all the PC's where the form doesn't run we get the "type mismatch" error. There are other forms in the workbook that work fine.

I am at my wit's end. I have checked all the code and there is nothing wrong with it- on the PCs where it works it runs perfectly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

have you done DEBUG when you get the error to see where it is failing? Perhaps some are doing something differently when entering on the form. Also do you have some add-ins that are not turned on with the machines where it does not work?

Hi thanks for the reply

The "debug" option is greyed out on the error message. Also, the form is failing before it even opens, so it is encountering an error in the initialisation code, which is why this problem is so inexplicable. The exact same code works perfectly on some pc's and encounters errors on others.

I have never installed any add-ins, but simply use excel as it comes on first installation. None of our computers have any add-ins installed.
