Greetings,
I am trying to write a code that will automatically display the current date in a form when that form is opened. The following is the code I have so far and I have to click in the textbox and press a key for the date to be displayed which is not what I want.

Code:
Private Sub TextBox1_initialize()
'Date
 TextBox1 = Date
 End Sub

Any suggestions?

crap my bad. It works like a charm now. Thank you for your time and patience as well as the prompt replies.

Cheers,

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

It's a pretty common problem.

One tip - use the 2 dropdowns above the userform code module.

On the left it lists all the objects, eg controls, the userform itself, and on the right the events.

When you choose a control from the first list and select an event you should get the appropriate code stub to use.
