Force web page to open in IE?

I've recently taken over maintenance of the local soccer club's website.
They have some features that use IE-specific tags and either don't work, or look lousy, in Firefox and other browsers.
So, I'm wondering: Is there a way to embed something in the link, that forces that page (it's on another site) to open in IE? If so, do you need to specify which version?

Thanks
Denis

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.

Most of help offered seems to be for the user to do themselves, like: IE View, that lets firefox users open a page in IE. The main reason for not being able to put it in the link seems to be security, not wanting to force the person clicking on the link, to open another browser. The only hint there seemed to be to make it work at all, was to include something in the code that was exclusive to Internet Explorer.

Thanks Marbles,

I was just being hopeful but I guess it's a feature that would be abused like crazy if it were out there!

I'll try to see if I can get the other site to create alt tags for the missing button images, but I'll also put a message on the site about using IEview.

Cheers
Denis
