Hi,
I have found a problem in excel where the font size (or maybe its cell size) seems change between viewing in excel and printing, whether that be print preview, print to pdf, or print to paper. This is causing problems for cells with wrapped text, where the text almost but not quite finishes the edge of the cell - in the normal view the text takes up say 2 lines, but when printed it only takes up 1 line. The cell height in the printed version however does not shrink which looks unsightly.
See examples below. In normal view
In print preview:
Is there any fix for this? Either keeping the text the same size so that it still takes up 2 lines when printed OR having the row height shrink to one line high when printed would be acceptable.
This seems to be a long time problem as there is another forum post from 2005 here Wrapped text printing problem with the same issue.
Cheers
