Hi,

I'm afraid that Excel does not allow the embedding of fonts, so even if you tried to lock cells from changing the formatting, the clients machines will only display an equivalent or default font.

The (long) way to get around this is to embed the Excel file into a Word document as Word does allow fonts to be embedded. Search the internet for this to find tutorials on how to do this.

The next issue you have is the font management/licencing issues. Many fonts are free to use for personal use, but you will need to check the licenses that they were released under as many will say that if its for commercial use then a charge will be placed.

This is why a lot of people keep it simple and use the standard fonts that come with end users machines :(
