I frequently, inadvertently, hit the right scroll slider and my spreadsheet shoots out of sight and I find myself way down on row 200 or greater, depending on where my cursor hit the scroll bar.

This is the range of my spreadsheet A1:M26. How do I constrain it, so it doesn't flying off the screen when I hit the scroll bar?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Click on row 27 so it highlights the entire row, click ctrl+shift+down arrow, it will highlight down to row one million or so, right click anywhere on the row numbers and select hide. Next go to column N, select it so the whole column is highlight and hit ctrl+shift+right arrow, right click a highlighted column and select hide. This should greatly reduce the size of your scroll bars. Let me know how it works!

Thanks for that idea. The hide option really did the trick, now the scrollbar doesn't drive my worksheet off the screen. But thanks for pointing out that option!
