Hi i need help building a Simple work sheet for 6 fleet vehicles, its needs to set up in a way, where i can update oil level on a daily basis and when it comes below 2 bars, it highlights in a different colour, please help in building this sheet, i have seen it done , i just cant figure out how to make one.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
what have you got so far, its very useful to see the layout and values you need to work with, rather than you adapting something that is offered

Well basically 6 Vehicles, they need to maintain 4 bars for oil level in the trucks, everyday the driver gives me a pre trip sheet where they inspect the truck, in that pretrip sheet there is a section where they write in how many bars the oil level is showing, i then take the sheet and need to record oil levels, right now i have a manual hand written system set up, i am very beginner at excel and i want to set up a sheet where i can have the trucks in one coloumn and then a daily log where i type in how many bars are showing so the numerical numbers could be 1-4,the moment i record 2 bars or less for any truck i would like for me to highlight it red, this way it shows me how often im having to fill and what my trend is, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME BUILD THIS SHEET, you can help me save my job!

If that is your only check, I would have each vehicle in their own column B to G. In A I would have the date. I would use a custom format over B to G from 4 to 700 (2 years worth) the format is easy to apply and would be between 0.01 and 2
