Flattening/embedding data into Power Pivot

I am retrieving a lot of data from a SQL data source for some reports in Power Pivot. I would like to make this report somewhat portable so that stakeholders can use it without needing access to the SQL server. Is there any way to embed the data after it has been retrieved, but still allow users to change pivot table filters/slicers? I don't need them to be able to refresh the data, obviously - just use the pivots/dashboard.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
I think thats what your current workbook does already. If you disconnect your network connection, you can use and change the reports without refreshing from the source.

You can consider it as a 2-level refresh process:
1st load PP Model with fresh data from the Server (this you don't need),
2nd "refresh" your Excel-report-data with data from your PP-Model (that will still be possible).

Hope that's what you've asked.
