I am currently using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 201. Flash fill came along in 2013. Is ther a vba to do the things that flash fill does (both adding pattin and splitting out without concatenate and text to columns)?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
It appears to work in VBA. I put what looked like social security numbers in A1:A4 (without any dashes) and this flashfilled them

Code:
Sub FFvba()
Cells(1, 2) = "123-45-6789"
Dim rng As Range
Set rng = Range("B1:B4")
rng.FlashFill
End Sub

You have to be careful with FlashFill because sometimes the pattern isn't recognized...it's not 100% accurate.
